Beloit College is planning to create two schools—the School of Business and the School of Health Sciences—to further strengthen the college’s ability to ensure students find successful and fulfilling careers after graduation.

The rankings highlight Beloit College’s first-year student experience, value, and social mobility of its graduates.

Emily Eagle’06 returns to campus as the college’s third Executive-in-Residence, helping students explore the theories and practices of foundational human-centered design (HCD) thinking. HCD is a problem-solving approach that puts people at the focus of user-experience (UX) design.

The inaugural Summer Academy , a two-week residential, for-credit course, allowed the high schoolers from across the country to experience college life, before beginning the college application process, as rising juniors or seniors. 

Anishinaabe poet and former Wisconsin poet laureate Kimberly Blaeser will share her luminous voice as Beloit College’s next Mackey Chair.
