Overview
[placeholder content] The 4-2 Engineering Program is a unique dual-degree pathway that allows students to integrate the broad, critical thinking skills of a liberal arts education with the specialized technical knowledge of engineering. Students spend four years at Beloit College completing a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as physics, mathematics, or computer science, followed by two years at a partner engineering school to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
This program is ideal for students who want the best of both worlds: the personal attention and interdisciplinary opportunities of a liberal arts college and the cutting-edge training of a top-tier engineering institution. Graduates of the program are highly sought after for their ability to tackle complex technical challenges while understanding their broader social and ethical contexts.
At Beloit College, we provide a supportive environment to help you excel in rigorous coursework, gain hands-on research experience, and prepare for the transition to an engineering school. Our partnerships with leading engineering institutions ensure you’ll have access to exceptional resources and networks to launch your career.
