Martu aspires to apply to law programs and master’s programs in public policy.

Future public policy leader

Martu Kollie’24 traversed the country to the University of Washington for its Junior Summer Institute, learning about public policy through seven-week courses in economics, quantitative methods, policy analysis, and contemporary global issues. “There are lots of nuances playing into policy making,” she says.

Exploring public health law

Louise Claussen’24 explored public policy through a health lens at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs through the Junior Summer Institute. She found that her experiences outside the classroom were just as integral to her education as anything inside it.

Mathematics and Public Health double major Vu Anh Le’25 participated in the Station1 Frontiers Fellowship Program 2023 , a summer research initiative established by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Department of Materials Science and Engineering faculty.
