Rick Brooks’69 is always here to help. From his home base in Princeton, Ill., Rick is consistently workshopping ideas on how to help his alma mater. From planning Reunions, hosting student events, to giving us a shout-out on Northern Public Radio, Rick’s commitment to the College is second-to-none.
Opportunities
Volunteers refer students to Beloit, host or attend receptions in their hometowns, and represent the College at events our admissions counselors are not able to attend. Admissions volunteers are the college’s most enthusiastic promoters and a great asset in attracting bright new students to Beloit.
The Alumni Board works to encourage and foster alumni support of and involvement with the institution, is engaged with events, and selects the recipients of alumni awards. The Board meets twice a year on campus and works with the Alumni Office to further the College’s goals.
The Alumni Office welcomes Beloit alumni to plan and host alumni events across the country. It’s simple, fun, and very rewarding. Learn more about being a Beloiters Unite! host.
Help us reach our goal by participating in our 24-hour fundraising challenge. Donate, share our updates, and encourage your network to participate in the college’s annual Giving Day.
Networking with students is an excellent way to support the needs of today’s Beloiter. Host a job shadowing student , provide an internship, or house students and help them explore careers in your city.
Volunteers put the special touch in reunion and are needed to contact classmates to encourage attendance and participation and plan class events. Volunteer to ensure your reunion is a success.
