Book Cover for The Low Road: Walking the Walk for Veterans by Tommy Zurhellen'91. In the summer of 2019, U.S. Navy veteran Tommy Zurhellen walked 2,866 miles alone across America to raise awareness about veteran suicide and homelessness.

This memoir, a special edition with net proceeds going directly to help veterans in Zurhellen’s home city of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., documents his challenging trip, which raised $70,000 for this cause and included a stop in Beloit.
