Tuition award named for Professor Carla Davis

The late Professor of Sociology Carla Davis made an outsized impact on her students. At a memorial service held to celebrate her life last October, friends announced that a tuition award is being established in her name for a student of color.

Davis, who passed away in June at 57, was an active and inspirational teacher-scholar, who set many students on a path to careers in sociology.

To contribute, make a gift towards the financial aid award in honor of Carla Davis.
