Walking Grandma Home

By Nancy Bo Flood’67
Zonderkidz, 2023

Nancy Bo Flood, author of award-winning children’s books, writes and teaches about the Navajo Nation. She believes that the right book, the well-told story, can open a child’s heart to ask questions, express emotions, and begin important dialogues.

Walking Grandma Home, illustrated by Ellen Shi, is a story of grief, hope, and healing based on the author’s experience as a child of her younger sister’s death and on her experiences as a counselor and educator.
