Adam Dinnes

Since joining Beloit in 2006, he has worked as an a/v technician, help desk supervisor, instructional technologist, and technology project manager. His current work includes managing the daily operations of the technology support and infrastructure team, providing technology consultation and training to the campus community, and managing the InfoDesk patron service desk in Morse Library.
Adam serves as the advisor to the Esports & Gaming Club, a student-led organization for both casual and experienced gamers. He also mentors students interested in career pathways in Esports management, game design and marketing, and multimedia production.
Adam’s volunteer experience includes public service to libraries, community, and technology education. He currently serves as a member of the Prairie Lakes Library System Board of Trustees, as chair of the City of Janesville’s Advisory Committee on Appointments (ACA), and he volunteers as a technology instructor for other local non-profits. He is a past president of both the Hedberg Public Library Board of Trustees and the Arrowhead Library System Board of Trustees.
Adam holds a B.S. in Computer Graphics & Interactive Media, and an M.A. in Communications, both from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, IA.
