Shelbi Wilkin

Shelbi Wilkin has worked as a costume and wig designer, costume technician, costume crafts artisan, and makeup artist. Her design credits include the premier productions of Invisible, Left Hand of Darkness, and Successful Strategies. Costume and makeup designs include In the Next Room, The Moors, Scorched, and The Marriage of Figaro.

Shelbi’s area of research focuses on culturally respective design and research practices. She enjoys teaching students anything from research techniques and the elements of design to silk painting, millinery, and pattern drafting.

Shelbi enjoys exploring the world, trying new food, and enjoys any opportunity to spend time outdoors. She especially enjoyed her time in Oregon state backpacking the Cascades and exploring local breweries.
