Description / Biography
As a Student Success & Engagement Librarian, I support the teaching, learning, and research of students, faculty, and staff.
I’ve recently lead class discussions on:
- Getting started with academic research
- Evaluating sources
- Navigating and accessing library resources
- Citation management and tools
- Using Government Documents in research
- Developing scholarly voice
- Research and AI ethics
- Social and political contexts of science and research
As the Federal Depository Coordinator at Beloit College, I manage Beloit College’s Government Documents (GovDocs) Collection, which Beloit College has been stewarding since 1888 as a selective depository. Learn more about the Federal Depository Library Program. Please reach out to me if you have questions about our GovDocs collection.
I am also a co-host of the podcast Librarians Spill the Tea and love exploring scholarly drama and research ethics.
I spend my free time surrounded by my dogs, webcomics, and increasingly ridiculous craft projects.
