August 18 - 24

Goodbye summer. Hello Beloiters!

A Beloit College Buccaneer football player helps a family move their new student's belongings across campus.

Classes start in a week. That means it’s time to make final preparations for arriving or returning to campus, if you aren’t already here. Faculty, staff, and your fellow students are all excited to be back and kick off our new academic year!

Welcome to our new students

We extend an extra warm welcome to our new students who start their Beloit College journey on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Here are some of the best opportunities from the New Student Days schedule for you to begin meeting new people and finding your place on campus:

Welcome back everyone

It won’t be long until everyone confidently pulls on that Buccaneer swag. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to start the semester with some fun together at the Beloit Sky Carp Game on Sunday, August 24. It’s a Beloit College Day, so admission is free with your Beloit College ID.

After the first day of classes on Monday, Aug. 25, be sure to attend Convocation, an event (and fancy word) marking the new academic year. Students, faculty, and staff will then gather for a picnic in Chapin Quad.
