I hope this play gives people the space to reflect and appreciate the Beloit College community like it did for me,” says Journey Beier ’28.Hello Beloiters! Connect mind and bodyWe are a month away from finals. Prepare your mind by paying attention to your body. On Tuesday at 7 p.m., Crom Visiting Philosopher Mark Johnson will deliver a lecture about how embodiment—the idea that our physical body affects our experiences and thoughts—is the source of everything we know and do. The Crom Visiting Philosopher, a Beloit Residency hosted by the Philosophy department, brings distinguished and influential philosophers to campus for two days of talks, classroom visits, and lectures. It is named in honor of Scott Crom, a longtime and legendary philosophy professor at Beloit College who died in 2013. The Beloit College Residencies are opportunities to learn alongside Nobel Prize winners, human rights leaders, and national poet laureates right here on campus. Mark your calendars for Crom Philosopher events this week, and for future Residencies:
