Making a Work Request
All work requests should be submitted through SchoolDude. This allows us to best coordinate our staff and address all requests in a timely manner.
Please submit all requests as far in advance as possible. Some services require lead time, usually two weeks notice. Requests that are submitted without sufficient notice may not be fulfilled.
Event Requests
Requests related to setup and take down for events should instead refer to the information about Event Setup.
Services
Office and furniture moves require a minimum of two weeks advanced notice.
Facilities will evaluate items to be moved to determine if our staff will have time and ability to safely complete your move request. If we cannot accommodate your move, we will provide an area moving company name for the move at your expense.
Please keep in mind the weight when packing boxes to be move. Facilities does not pack or unpack boxes. Items for office moves will be only furniture, boxes and individual computer components.
Our staff will not disconnect or reconnect computer equipment. You will need to contact Information Technology (IT), extension 4357, to assist you with the disconnect and reconnect of your computer.
Requests for assistance with assembling new office furniture will be scheduled based on the availability of personnel. It is each department’s responsibility to locate a new home for unwanted furniture / equipment.
Requests for door and desk nameplates require a work request to ensure the name is legible. Please indicate if a holder is needed for either a desk or a wall. An account number is required when ordering.
A twenty-four hour notice is required for Facilities assistance with deliveries. Facilities available hours for deliveries (Monday through Friday) are as follows:
- 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
- 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
