WBCR has “been providing the highest quality non-commercial noise to the fine citizens of southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois since 1907.”
WBCR has the privilege of being both an online and FM radio station, and its mission is twofold: first, to be organized, pleasurable to listen to, and connected with the Beloit student body, and second, comply with all applicable Federal Communications Commission regulations.
Therefore WBCR must balance student freedom on the airwaves with strict adherence to government law.
