Business Networking Summit (well-known as “Econ Day”)

Beloit College students spend a day in Chicago at the annual Econ Day learning and networking with alumni about business opportunities.

A trip to Chicago in February for students and faculty to network with alumni and for students to get career advice or hear about internship/job opportunities from alumni. 

Alumni are encouraged to register and participate.

“Know Your Employers” Series

Every Friday at 12:30-1:30 (in the first half of the fall semester and the second half of the spring semester), a recruiter or industry professional from a firm will give an info session about their firm, the work that they do, career opportunities, and the recruiting process and calendar. Come ready to learn how you can best prepare yourself so you can be successful in finding internships and jobs.

Beloit Executive-in-Residence 

The Beloit Executive-in-Residence program offers personalized, professional development opportunities for Beloit College students. The Beloit Executive-in-Residence is an alumnus/a with significant business experience. As current or former senior leaders in organizations, Beloit Executives-in-Residence know firsthand what it takes to reach the top ranks in the business world. They are entrepreneurs who have launched successful startups and have grown new businesses. They are business experts who can help take students from the classroom, to the city, to the world.
