Concierge Internship Program
Internship opportunities in top Beloit area business to gain invaluable work experience and make an impact.
Opportunities for 2026-27 Academic Year
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable students who will be a junior or senior during the 2025-26 academic year to apply to internships with top Beloit area businesses. As a Concierge Intern, you will gain invaluable experience working in roles ranging from marketing, finance, accounting, computer programming, engineering, human resources, and more.
Program Highlights
- Work 10 hours (or more) per week; must allow 3+ hour blocks in your day 2+ days per week. (Application decisions will be made before fall course registration, allowing you to align your calendar to meet this requirement.)
- Begin August 24 and end April 28 subject to all school breaks (fall, winter, and spring). You must be able to work during both the fall and spring semesters.
- Receive 2.0 units of credit, one for each semester.
- Earn possible compensation: Most internships are paid, some are unpaid.
- Engage in professional development and peer-to-peer reflection under the guidance Impact Beloit staff.

About the Impact Beloit Concierge Internship Program
Introduction
An internship placement with any of the companies participating in this program will be extremely valuable for your skill and career development. As a Concierge Intern, you will gain valuable, hands-on experience working on projects integral to the operations of the business and develop and hone your professional skills. You will develop professionally through on the job experience, as well through faculty/staff advising, and peer-to-peer sharing. The internship will give you excellent experience as you pursue future career paths and navigate future jobs.
Successful candidates for the internship positions will:
- Be a junior or senior as of the fall 2025 semester.
- Be able to work 10 hours per week in 3+ hour blocks during business working hours.
- Demonstrate a history of responsible and highly dependable behavior.
- Demonstrate you have developed job-ready skills through internships, jobs, community-based learning, certifications, and other skill development.
The following companies are partners for the 2025-2026 academic year. While we are still finalizing companies and roles for 2026-2027, students can expect to find roles in operations, sales, marketing, wealth management, communications, engineering, and more.
- ABC Supply Company is one of the largest wholesale distributors of roofing materials in the United States. Founded in 1982, the company offers a variety of siding, windows and other exterior building products. It has operations in more than 350 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Sowell Realty Group is a full-service real estate firm specializing in property management, affordable housing, real estate investments, and first-time homebuyer services across Wisconsin and Illinois.
Interested students should complete this application and submit their resume by the priority deadline of March 6, 2026. Interviews will commence after spring break. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled.
The top candidates who meet the requirements will be interviewed by the Impact Beloit Team. Finalists will be interviewed by a representative from the company to which you are applying.
Selections will be made on a rolling basis, so the earlier that you apply, the better..
Interns will attend weekly 1-hour class sessions, where they will share updates on their projects, challenges, and successes and receive feedback and guidance from their course instructor and peers.
Classes will help interns reflect on what they’ve learned, learn from their peers’ experiences, and receive feedback that helps them perform better.
As the beginning of the internship, the Intern will set goals with the help of their course instructor and their company manager, which they will monitor and iterate upon during the year.
The default is that interns will be compensated (at a competitive market rate) for the internship but some of the internships will not be for pay. Even if an internship is unpaid, you will gain invaluable experience, and, in most cases, if you work hard, paid internships or full-time positions could be a result of your good work.
You will receive 2.0 units of credit for this program, through PRAX 352 in the fall and PRAX 353 in the spring.
