Video Accessibility Services
LITS, in partnership with the Learning Enrichment and Disability Services (LEADS) office, can provide subtitling and captioning services for academic purposes for students with a documented accessibility accommodation. Requests must be routed to LEADS, who will determine exact needs and coordinate services with LITS staff. The subtitling/captioning creation process can take quite a bit of time depending upon the length of audio/video clip, so please submit requests well in advance.
International Videos
Most classrooms in the World Affairs Center feature integrated region-free video players. Region-free video players may also be requested for short-term use from the InfoDesk in Morse Library. Detailed information on classroom technology is available on the LITS Knowledge Base.
LITS designs, builds, documents, and supports the audio-visual and computing systems in campus classrooms, computer labs, event venues, and other spaces. Most campus presentation and learning spaces are equipped with integrated audio-visual equipment. Visit the LITS Knowledge Base for detailed information and usage instructions on the technology in specific spaces.
