Mario has been a wonderful asset and caring point of contact for the Safety and Security Department. He always does that little bit of extra work for anyone who calls Security for assistance, and even goes that extra distance for any of his coworkers. He is a bright spot in a campus filled with many, but one I know that cares and genuinely tries to help the people around him.

I stopped into Security to ask a question on my way to drop off microwaves to Mayer Hall for the electronics recycling drop off. Mario sensed my worry about hauling the heavy electronics and offered to help. He helped me load the cart, pushed the cart and then offered to return it to the mailroom for me. This was completely unexpected and just a bright light in my day.
