Accepting or declining loans
Students who were offered loans and have not yet completed loan acceptance steps should do so immediately. Your current bill assumes you will accept all loans on your financial aid offer. Non-accepted loans will eventually be removed from student accounts, resulting in a change in your balance due.
First-year students
Please confirm on your Portal if you have completed Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note through www.studentaid.gov if you want to use your offered federal loans. Please also confirm on your Portal if you have completed your Beloit Loan acceptance through www.uasconnect.com.
Continuing students
If you have used federal loans in the past, you do not need to do anything else to use them again this year. Beloit Loan acceptances for continuing students will be available at a later date: check your email often for updates.
Declining loans
If any student wishes to decline or reduce any portion of their loans, they must email the Financial Aid Office (faoffice@beloit.edu) to make that request.
