Changes to library access in the evening
In an effort to expand campus access and increase safety, access to the library is changing. Your Beloit College ID will be needed to access the building after 6 p.m. as well as to access the book return at the second floor between 6 a.m. and 2 a.m.
LITS is making some changes to how and when you can access Morse Library, beginning Monday, October 20, 2025.

Campus-only hours: In an effort to increase safety in the evenings, Morse Library will be card access-only starting at 6PM. Please plan to bring your Beloit ID card to swipe into the library. Updated hours, noting public hours and campus-only hours, are posted on the exterior doors and library website. Exceptions will be made for planned events that are open to the public.

Book Return expanded access: Campus library patrons (faculty, staff, and students) can return library books using the materials return in the second floor library vestibule with their Beloit ID card from 6AM to building open and building close to 2AM.
