Summary

All Powerhouse signs must adhere to the “Sign Policy” posted in the current year Student Handbook.

Signs posted in the Powerhouse should be used to promote educational engagement or serve as a means of communication to advertise campus events. All signs should be respectful of the campus community and other individuals.

You cannot tear down or cover-up other posters to make room for your own. You can not deface posters with drawings, writings, false statements, etc. Posters that do not adhere to this policy will be removed and the owner will be contacted.

Sign Placement:

In the Powerhouse, we have several designated signage areas and boards. All other locations are prohibited.

• Designated boards with provided pins and magnets
• • Second floor near the welcome desk
  • Metal ducts on the 2nd floor, south side
  • Majerus Study Lounge
  • Lower Level
• Digital Signage is available. If you would like to add your sign to one of the powerhouse TVs, complete this form to submit your poster. Posters should be ideally by sized 1920x1080, in landscape orientation and have TDD (takedown date) no later than 1 month out.

  Process:

  • Please post your signs in the designated areas using supplied push pins and magnets
  • Remove your signs after your event

  • Promote drug/alcohol use

  Signs must have:

  • “Brought to You By” (BTYB) with a legitimate primary contact affiliated with the sign
  • Must provide a “Take Down Date”
