Gender and technology
Today, students in the “Archaeology: Lessons from the Past” explored the relationship between changing technology and gender disparity. More specifically, they considered whether the shift from spears and spear-throwers (atl-atls) to bows and arrows reduced women’s participation in hunting activities and increased gender inequality.
