We Are No. 5 in the Nation

Beloit rises to the top on a coveted list of innovative national liberal arts schools.

U.S. News & World Report told the world something in September that Beloiters already knew: The college is among the country’s most innovative liberal arts colleges.

Beloit ranked No. 5, the first time the college appeared in that category since it was created six years ago. The most innovative schools list is based on peer nominations. Top leaders at other colleges and universities name the schools they think the public should watch for having made bold improvements to curriculum, faculty, student, and campus life programs, technology, or facilities. Beloit was the only Midwestern college in the top five.
