Clyde Boutelle, business leader, community force and member of the golden jubilee class of 1955 is part of a dynamic Beloit College family that includes his wife, Nancy Wormley Boutelle’57 also a Distinguished Service Citation recipient, two uncles, a brother, a son, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law. His commitment to Beloit, town and gown, is legendary. Alumni trustee, former Beloit City Counselor, Police and Fire Commissioner, and Paul Harris Fellow, and past president of the Beloit Rotary Club, he has helped to shape the community and College, supporting both throughout challenging and exciting times. An economics major and member of TKE and an outstanding campus leader and athlete, he has secured the future of the College through his good counsel, creative philanthropy, and selfless generosity. The Beloit College Alumni Association is proud to confer upon him its highest award, the Distinguished Service Citation.
