One of many Beloit College students inspired by our beloved chemistry professor, E.G. Smith, you have gone on to a distinguished career in sanitary engineering. Following advanced study at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, you founded the department and became first chief engineer of the Florida State Board of Health.
