Cheat by David Benjamin '73 Cheat is the fifth book in the award-winning Jim Otis series of small-town crime novels set in fictional Hercules, Wisconsin.

The series was a Finalist for Best Series in the 2022 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, and Bastard’s Bluff, the second book in the series, was named Best Crime Fiction in the 2021 NYC Big Book Awards.

Susan Turner Vogt ’83 in February with D’Artagnan, one of 26 wolfdogs she’s rescued and provided a home for at the Red Riding Hood Sanctuary for wolfdogs in Ohio. Dart is a low-content wolfdog, 34% Gray Wolf and varying percentages of Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, and German Shepherd. His blue eyes are most likely from Husky genes.
