Model United Nations (Model U.N.)
The MUN club of Beloit College is a student organization aimed a promoting international strength, diversity, and political activities. The club is also focused on educating the campus community on international, social, cultural and political issues.
Description
Purpose
Model UN will have the following purposes:
- Participate and Compete in MUN conferences with other colleges
- Promote internationalism and stronger understanding of The United Nations for people both inside and outside the club
Model UN does not have a direct affiliation with an outside organization
Membership Requirements
- Model UN is open to all those affiliated with Beloit College, and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, club membership status, or physical or mental disabilities.

Model UN will have 2 types of members

Voting Members(“club members” or “members”)
- This will be the membership for students, who will have the ability to vote on various functions of the club, detailed further in Articles IV, V, and VII
- In order to have voting powers over club functions, a voting member must have a 75% attendance rate, not including excused absences

Non-Voting members(“faculty members”)
- This will be the membership for faculty or advisors
