Sports recap

  • Women’s lacrosse went 1-1 on the week in two conference matchups. Their huge 19-17 win against Concordia University (Wis.) puts them in the three seed and in great position to make the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) tournament. Senior night is at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
  • Men’s lacrosse lost their two NACC matchups this week. They will be on the road for their last two games in search of their first conference win.
  • Baseball opened the week with a Midwest Conference doubleheader against Lawrence University on Tuesday. The Bucs lost the first and the second was suspended due to rain after the third inning. The Bucs then took two wins in a three-games series against Grinnell College.
  • Softball had a pair of non-conference games postponed to Wednesday. They then lost two one-run heartbreakers to Lawrence University, 7-6 and 9-8.
