Description

Beloit College invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media Production beginning Fall 2024. This is a benefits-eligible, 9-month position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach intermediate and advanced practicum courses in television broadcasting as well as courses in photography, nonfiction video, and/or other areas of digital media production. Candidates should have a background in broadcast journalism, expertise in video and photography, and teaching experience. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to engaged and innovative teaching with an awareness of related critical and theoretical issues. A Master’s or PhD degree is preferred; candidates with demonstrated professional experience are also encouraged to apply.
