Description / Biography
Rick Rose is an Emmy Award-winning producer and director with over two decades in television, stage, and film, having held major roles at companies like Warner Bros. Television and earning an Emmy for overseeing four concurrent TV series. He has extensive experience in development, production, and talent management in major media markets.
Rose is also a successful entrepreneur in the hospitality and historic tourism sectors, with businesses that have received national media attention. In Louisiana, he held key media roles, including as a Community Engagement Manager for The Shreveport Times, where he organized large-scale events and co-created 318 Restaurant Week.
A dedicated social activist and community advocate, Rose is actively involved with numerous non-profits, serving as a CASA, Mentor, and Board Member for Advocates for Youth Justice. A published writer and podcaster, he fights for social equality and is an alumnus of Beloit College who has coached several Miss America titleholders.
He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Beloit College in 1988 and returned to teach as a Practitioner in Residence in Marketing and for the School of Media Arts.
