Hello Beloiters!

In between scheduling classes, schedule time to hear from Daniel Wilkinson, this year’s Weissberg Chair in Human Rights and Social Justice. Wilkinson will share insights rooted in his three-decades career as a lawyer and writer who has advocated for human rights in the United States and worldwide.

Begin with Tuesday’s keynote lecture, “Human Rights and the Climate Crisis.” Extend your conversation with Wilkinson during the Social Justice Lunch and build your skills during his “Ending Avocado-Driven Deforestation: Anatomy of a Climate Campaign” workshop.

The Weissberg Residency is part of the Weissberg Program in Human Rights and Social Justice and one of the Beloit College Residencies that bring interdisciplinary experts to campus so that students from all fields benefit.
