Description / Biography

I am the Jazz Ensemble director at Beloit College. I hold an undergraduate degree in music education from Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin, and I’m currently enrolled in a Masters of Music & Music Education program through Columbia University in New York City.

I am also the Director of Bands at Turner High School in Beloit. I studied trombone with Megumi Kanda, principal trombone of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and perform regularly in musical pit orchestras, and substitute with big bands in the Southern Wisconsin area.
