Executive in Residence in Finance

Description / Biography

I joined Beloit as Executive-in-Residence, where I teach Financial Literacy and Investments.

I hold a PhD in Economics from George Mason University and am a CFA Charterholder. My career in investment management spans nearly two decades (2005-2023), including 10 years as a portfolio manager of large-cap equity strategies and 8 years as a quantitative analyst. My quantitative research and stock selection models informed investment decisions for approximately $20 billion in assets. Earlier in my career, I worked as a consultant to NASDAQ, developing statistical models to identify insider trading.

I enjoy introducing students to financial markets and investment concepts, using my experience to move beyond the textbook and help them understand how theory applies in practice. My goal is to prepare students for careers in finance, whether in portfolio management, corporate finance, financial planning, or related fields.
