Visiting Instructor of Marketing

Description / Biography

I earned my B.A. in Economics from Beloit College in 1996 and my MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. I bring more than 20 years of experience in marketing, brand building, innovation, and consumer insights, working with both iconic global brands and high-growth organizations.

I began my career as an economist before transitioning into marketing leadership. I spent 15 years at Kraft Foods and Oscar Mayer, where I held roles across marketing, innovation, and consumer insights, eventually serving on a business unit executive leadership team. I later led marketing teams at JBS’s Prepared Foods business unit and High Liner Foods, focusing on breakthrough innovation and first-to-market platforms. Along the way, I’ve built high-performing teams, launched award-winning products, and learned how to turn consumer insights into growth and opportunity.

As I start my first formal teaching role, I’m excited to bring my industry experience into the classroom. I hope to help students connect what they learn to real-world business challenges, develop practical skills in brand strategy and innovation, and gain confidence as they prepare for internships, interviews, and early career opportunities.

Originally from Turkey, I came to the United States to attend Beloit College and have made Wisconsin my home ever since. I live in Madison and value the strong sense of community that makes this region—and Beloit College—such a meaningful place to learn, grow, and explore your passions.”
