Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics

Description / Biography

I teach courses in consumer behavior, microeconomics, macroeconomics, environmental economics, and econometrics. Before joining Beloit College, I taught macroeconomics at New York University. Drawing on my background in economic policy consulting, I enjoy bringing real-world experience into the classroom, encouraging students to work with real data and apply economic theory to pressing policy issues.

My research focuses on international trade and economic development. I examine how exposure to globalization influences labor markets and educational outcomes in developing countries. I have also collaborated with the United Nations ESCAP to develop an e-learning course on international trade and the Sustainable Development Goals.
