Communications & Integrated Marketing is responsible for most of the “core” sites, including: Our Story, Academics, Student Life, Visit Campus, News & Events, and For Beloiters.

Admissions, Alumni, and Give to Beloit are maintained by those offices with support from Communications & Integrated Marketing.

Athletics has a landing page for traffic on this site, but otherwise maintains their own separate site that this site links to.

The remaining sites are the generally the responsibility of the departments, offices, and programs which they represent. Communications & Marketing staff are available to assist where needed.

Group Definitions / Delegation of Responsibilities

• Core Groups

• Admissions – Managed by the Admissions office and supported by Communications & Marketing.

• Alumni, and Giving – Managed by the Development & Alumni office and supported by Communications & Marketing.

• Our Story, Academics, Student Life, Visit Campus, News & Events, and For Beloiters – Managed by the Communications & Marketing office and supported by all of campus to help keep the broad set of content current.

• Managed by academic departments, who are the subject experts.
• Communications & Marketing is generally available to support content efforts, given the importance of these pages to external audiences.
• Examples: Anthropology, Art, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.

• Managed by offices and departments, who are the subject experts.

• Examples: Academic Affairs, Advising & Mentoring, Bursar, Career Works, etc.

• Utility or Other Groups

• Managed by the person who makes the most sense for the content, as determined when the group is set up.
