Frequently asked questions about financial aid for international students.
Yes. All international applicants will be considered for merit-based scholarships during the admission review process.
Beloit does not offer full-ride scholarships, which are scholarships covering all costs of attendance.
A limited number of full-tuition scholarships are awarded to international students each year. Students will be selected by the admissions committee to apply for these scholarships. A full-tuition scholarship covers tuition expenses only. The remaining costs associated with attendance include room, board, fees, books, supplies, personal expenses, insurance, travel, and fees associated with the visa process are not included. Recipients of a full-tuition scholarship will need to be able to demonstrate financial support for these remaining costs to obtain an I-20 document for their student visa.
No. Unfortunately, we will only consider applications for financial aid from international students during the application process.
Once you enroll at Beloit College, you will no longer be able to be considered for financial aid. As part of the application for admission, all applicants needing financial assistance are required to complete the Beloit College International Student Financial Aid Application or the CSS Profile as thoroughly and accurately as possible. You can find more information about what is required on the international requirements application page.
Applicants who do not intend to apply for need-based financial aid consideration will need to complete the Beloit College Declaration of Finances form and submit supporting financial documentation, such as a bank statement. You will need to log into your Beloit College application portal to complete this form. Financial support forms and documentation should be submitted by, or shortly after, the application deadline for which you are applying. Supporting documentation can be uploaded directly in the Declaration of Finances form, through your application portal page, or emailed to intadmis@beloit.edu.
Yes, campus employment is offered to all international students. You can find campus employment guidelines on the International Student Employment page.
