What is Health and Society?
Health and society is an interdisciplinary field that examines how health and wellbeing are shaped by biological, social, cultural, economic, and political forces. This minor introduces students to the idea that health is a medical and social condition influenced by community, environment, policy, and access to care. Students learn to think critically about how health systems operate and why health outcomes differ across populations.
