Concierge Counselor Program


School counselors are invited to visit campus, with expense assistance, to learn more about what Beloit College can offer their students.

Autumn is beautiful in Wisconsin and is arguably the best time to tour campus.

Getting to Beloit is easy

Beloit College is conveniently located within driving distance of O’Hare International Airport and General Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee as well as regional airports in Madison, WI and Rockford, IL. For counselors flying into O’Hare, you may take the Coach USA bus to South Beloit, IL and we will gladly pick you up from the bus stop.

Typical schedule

First day

  • By 3:00 p.m. – Arrive on campus
  • 3:00 - 3:30 p.m. – Welcome reception
  • 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. – Campus Tour
  • 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. – Faculty Panel and Dinner

Accommodations

Overnight accommodations will be provided at either the Goodwin Hotel or the Ironworks Hotel, both an easy walk to campus and located in the heart of historic downtown Beloit.

We invite you to explore nightlife options downtown, or to simply relax in one of the boutique hotels.

Ironworks Hotel and Merrill & Houston's Steakhouse in downtown Beloit.

 

Second day

  • By 8:30 a.m. – Arrive back on campus
  • 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. – Breakfast
  • 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. – Coffee and conversation
  • 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. – Admissions & Financial Aid at Beloit
  • 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. – Student Panel
  • 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.CELEB and Hendricks Tour
  • 11:30 a.m. – Boxed lunch to go
