Need-Based Aid
Need-based awards reduce out-of-pocket costs and assist in making Beloit an affordable choice.
Applying for financial aid
All applicants are automatically considered for merit scholarships by the Admissions Committee during application review.
All applicants interested in learning their eligibility for additional types of financial aid — including federal, state, and institutional aid in the form of grants, work study, and loans — must submit a financial aid application.
- Domestic students — U.S. citizens and permanent residents — are expected to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- International Students can submit the free Beloit College International Student Financial Aid Application or choose one of the other available options.
$2,000 FAFSA Filing Grant
Complete the FAFSA and list Beloit College’s code to claim a $2,000 FAFSA filing grant! This grant will be applied to your initial financial aid offer and is renewable each year you submit the FAFSA on time.
- Beloit College FAFSA code: #003835

$1,000 Campus Visit Grant
Students applying for Fall 2026 may be eligible for a $1,000 Campus Visit Grant.
Students who attend an official campus visit between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 and are accepted to Beloit College will receive a $1,000 Visit Grant on their 2026-27 Beloit College Financial Aid Offer.
- Students who visited campus prior to July 1, 2025 are invited to visit again to secure the Visit Grant.
- Qualifying students who have already received a Financial Aid Offer will receive an updated Offer including the Visit Grant.
- This is a non-renewable, one-time award offered to admitted students and disbursed upon enrollment.
Deadlines and Timing
When possible, students are encouraged to submit their financial aid application at the same time as their application for admission.
Admitted students who meet the priority FAFSA filing deadline can expect to receive a financial aid offer within two weeks of receiving their admissions decision.
Admitted students who do not meet the priority FAFSA filing deadline can expect to receive a financial aid offer within four weeks of Beloit receiving their FAFSA.
Beloit only sends financial aid offers to admitted students.
