Are you ready to celebrate?

Immerse yourself in the Beloit College experience, meet your future classmates, and settle into your college home!

At an Accepted Students Day you’ll:

  • Learn more about Beloit College (of course). You’ll tour campus and downtown Beloit, you’ll meet faculty and staff, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit a class.
  • Get all your questions answered. Let us know who you need to talk to. We can set up individual meetings with staff from Financial Aid to Learning Enrichment & Disability Services.
  • Make friends. You’ll connect with fellow future Beloiters from all over the world and confirm that these are your people. Who knows, you might even meet your roommate!

We strongly encourage all admitted students to join us for an Accepted Students Day if possible. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Upcoming Accepted Students Days

Accepted Student Events for the Fall 2026 entering class have concluded. Accepted students and families are encouraged to schedule a Daily Visit.

Opportunities during your visit

  • Campus Tour

    All events

We know this is the highlight of your visit, and it should be. All our tours are student-led with 1-3 families per tour guide. You can expect to see the major campus buildings and a student residence hall and have ample opportunity for one-on-one conversation and questions.

Autumn is beautiful in Wisconsin and is arguably the best time to tour campus.
  • Campus Showcase

    Open Houses-only

An informal Beloit College “fair” where you’ll have the opportunity to walk around and meet representatives from Beloit’s Schools, academic departments, varsity and intramural sports teams, student clubs and organizations, and more.

Members of our International Club (I-Club) at the homecoming parade.
  • Life at Beloit — Student Panel

    Open Houses-only

Hear from current students about why they chose Beloit, what it’s like to live in the Residence Halls, clubs and organizations, and how Beloit is preparing them for a bright future.

Beloit students get to work closely in the classroom with world renowned scholars during the many residency programs Beloit offers.
  • Attend a Class

    School-year, weekday events

Immerse yourself in the Beloit academic experience. See how faculty and students engage with each other and wrestle with challenging questions.

Physics Professor Obioma Ohia observes students as they discuss a class project.

Additional opportunities

Traveling to Beloit

Beloit, Wisconsin is an easy drive from nearby cities Madison and Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL. For those flying to the region, there is a bus route that connects the Beloit area with the Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

Additional information is available about getting to campus by car, plane, bus, and train as well as on local accommodations.

What to expect during your visit

  • The visit experience at Beloit, like the student experience, is personal and individualized; come prepared to engage! We’ll want to hear about your passions and experiences, and we hope you’ll have lots of questions for us.
  • The typical visit experience lasts about two hours and can extend to include much of the day. If you have specific time constraints, please let us know in your visit request.
  • Much of your tour will be outside, and Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable. Please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared for changing and inclement weather.
  • At Beloit we believe that self care is community care, and your health and safety is important to us. We support and respect you taking any steps you need to feel safe during your visit, and we ask that you please reschedule if you or a member of your party becomes ill.
