During the summer of 2024 going into my senior year, I interned at International (formerly Navistar, Inc.), a North American truck manufacturer. During my time at International, I worked in the financial wing of the IT department on a variety of projects.

A majority of my time was focused on the solo development of a self-serve application for International’s customers. Once finished, my application allowed customers to make payments on their outstanding invoices and employees to manage customers with accounts on the app.

When not working on this application, I worked on a variety of side projects including Power BI reports displaying the statuses of outstanding customer contracts and the automation of API calls. 

At the end of the internship, I had the opportunity to present my projects and learnings to all of IT, as well as others around the company. Overall, this internship was a great experience and has prepared me for a future career in IT.
