Visions of Financial Order

by Kim Pernell ’07
Princeton University Press, 2024

Visions of Financial Order by Kim Pernell '07 This book explores the lack of regulation and resulting global financial crisis of the late 2000s through three case studies: United States, Canada, and Spain. Sharing the same regulatory framework, these societies implemented different policies.

Pernell keenly illustrates how the competing economic and cultural views functioned and shaped the crisis in these nations.
