The Day of Giving rallies the community around a shared purpose, ensuring that current and future students have access to the benefits of a liberal arts education that prepares them to meet future challenges. Gifts made during the campaign support scholarships, strengthen academic programs, enhance student experiences, and expand opportunities for students inside and outside the classroom.

The results of this year’s Day of Giving send a clear message: when Beloiters unite around a common goal, extraordinary things happen. Whether participants encouraged classmates to support the effort, shared social media posts to promote awareness, or made a gift themselves, every contribution played a role in the day’s success. The collective effort created a sense of energy and momentum that will carry forward across campus in the months ahead, and showed what the Beloit College community can accomplish together.

Overall participation in the Day of Giving increased from all groups — alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends — from across campus and beyond, representing an extraordinary 76 years of Beloiters, 1953-2029. Donors from all 50 states and 12 countries united to support their college, underscoring Beloit College’s global reach and enduring connections. Every gift mattered. Every voice counted. And every action helped make the 12th Annual Day of Giving one for the record books.

“I’m grateful for this place. This opportunity. This experience,” says Dariya Kylyshpay ’28 from Astana, Kazakhstan and currently studying abroad in South Korea. “My mom texted me about the Day of Giving. She wanted to contribute because she’s so grateful for everything it has done for me. Beloit College is far away and she still feels this gratitude.”

The community’s generosity ensures that current and future students and their families benefit from this personal attention, transformative education, sense of belonging, and vibrant community that make Beloit College so special.
