Hello Beloiters!

Get ready for Spring Day! On Wednesday there are no classes but plenty of things going on! Programming Board and Residential Life are collaborating to make this year’s event one to remember — inflatables, T-shirts, pizza, and much, much more!

  • Walk a Mile in Her Shoes with FemCo and Phi Kappa Psi at 12-3 p.m. to raise awareness about survivors of sexual assault. Purchase a pair of heels for $2-$5 if needed, and all proceeds go to the Wisco Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
  • Perform at the Spring Day: African-Caribbean Society Dance Competition at 1 p.m. outside Haven Hall. Sign up to dance — beginner or advanced, solo or in a group, TikTok dances, Afrobeats, freestyle – anything!

And Spring Day is Earth Day! Join the School of Environment & Sustainability all week to celebrate all things about the planet we call home.

  • The SoE&S Earth Week Party kicks off Earth Week 12:30-1:15 p.m. at Sanger Center for the Sciences, Room 350. Learn about the week’s campus events, drop in for advising around Certificates of Completion, and enjoy tacos from Taco Neno!
  • Then, start your end-of-semester cleaning, sustainably. LITS and the School of Environment & Sustainability present an E-Waste Recycling Event Tues., April 21 through Thurs., April 23, 7 a.m.-10 p.m. at Mayer Hall. Refer to this acceptable items list.
