Beloit’s pioneering advising structure known as AMP connects students to mentors early on, helps them transition to college life, and sets their sights on the outcomes of their liberal arts education.
Two faculty members and one Beloit staffer were recognized in April for their outstanding contributions as teachers, advisors, and mentors. The in-person gathering was held in Eaton Chapel.
The Beloit community said farewell to College Registrar Mary Boros-Kazai, Chemistry Professor George Lisensky, and Physics and Astronomy Professor J. Patrick Polley when they retired this year. The three were feted at an April ceremony and awarded emeriti status.
