Campus Governance
Beloit College’s shared governance system is summarized in the Administrative Policy Manual (APM).
All members the Beloit College community participate in the institution’s educational mission. The Administrative Policy Manual (APM) outlines the roles of the Board of Trustees, President, Provost and other Vice Presidents, Faculty, Students, Staff, and Alumni.
The Academic Senate has major and direct responsibility for the educational program of the college. It exercises effective control over academic standards, and over all curricular matters, except for those matters specifically designated by the college Charter to be the function of the faculty. Regular meetings of the Academic Senate are normally be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m.
