Registrar – Guardian of Standards

Native of Beloit, associated with Beloit College for thirty-eight years, registrar for thirty-four of those years, your vigilance in maintaining the academic standards of the College is an important and appreciated factor in the esteem in which Beloit College is held by sister institutions, her graduates, and her friends. Tempered with a warm sympathy for undergraduates, your insistence upon high quality of performance has enhanced every Beloit degree. Beloit College has recognized your long service with the title Registrar Emeritus conferred upon you; now it is my pleasant duty to grant you, at the request of your fellow-alumni, this Distinguished Service Citation.
