In your scholarly endeavors at other institutions and in your years of the teaching of English at Carleton, Pomona, and Grinnell, you have reflected credit upon Beloit College.

Your adopted alma mater, in recognizing your twenty-five years of service as Dean of Women at Grinnell College, has prevented your true alma mater from honoring you in person and in sight of your returning classmates, but has graciously consented to present to you as a token of Beloit’s esteem, this Distinguished Service Citation.
