Attorney – Civic Leader
A native and lifelong resident of Rockford, Illinois, you followed in the footsteps of your father by attending Beloit, becoming an attorney and entering practice in his office. An honors graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and now senior member in your firm, you have compiled a distinguished legal record that has included service as city corporation counsel, president of the Winnebago County Bar Association and member of the Illinois Bar Association’s Professional Ethics and Character and Fitness committees. The wide respect you have earned as a responsible and imaginative leader are reflected in your selection as president of the American Interprofessional Institute, the Winnebago County Civic League, the Rockford Professional Men’s Forum, the Rockford Rotary and the Rockford Mid-Day Club. In addition to your activity in local politics, you have served as an Alumni Trustee of our College and a division leader in the Rockford Memorial Hospital building campaign. Your Alma Mater has been honored by your exemplary life and hopes to evidence its pride and appreciation by awarding you this Distinguished Service Citation as your Class gathers on campus this weekend to celebrate its Golden Reunion anniversary.
